Introduction to Plato

In these times, it is worth recalling the extent to which the writings of Plato (c. 428-349 BCE) form the bedrock of the Western notion of inquiry into Truth. Future classes will focus on particular visionary Platonic dialogs, but to begin, we attempt an overview of his unifying vision and its impact on our ongoing mystical tradition.
